Davnet O'Driscoll is an experienced Associate Solicitor specialising in Employment and Industrial Relations Law.

She has a particular interest in Equality Law and has represented clients in relation to claims of sexual harassment, gender discrimination, disability discrimination and other grounds before the Equality Tribunal and Labour Court. She advises clients on aspects of administrative law including The Freedom of Information Act 1997-2003, Data Protection Law and Judicial Review proceedings.

She acts on behalf of Trade Unions and their members in contentious and non-contentious matters. She advises various non-governmental organisations and other bodies on employment policies and procedures, investigations, disciplinary hearings and health and safety. She advises clients and Trade Unions on the application of the European Transfer of Undertaking Regulations 2003 and the interpretation of this by the Courts. She represents various clients in the Courts, before the Employment Appeals Tribunal and other jurisdictions in relation to various issues including breach of contract, unfair dismissal and maternity-related dismissal.

Davnet O'Driscoll also specialises in family law. This is a difficult time for clients and sensitive intervention can result in early resolution. She advises on and negotiates legal separations for clients and represents clients in Judicial Separation proceedings, Divorce proceedings and the breakdown of non-marital relationships including obtaining partition orders in relation to property, financial lump sum orders, and pension adjustment orders. She advises on alternative resolution of disputes including mediation and collaborative law. She represents clients in all aspects of guardianship, custody, access and maintenance disputes. She is familiar with Child Care Law. She is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and the Family Lawyers Association.

She also advises clients on aspects of commercial litigation, contract, bullying and harrassment and employer liability claims. She has written a number of articles for clients on various legal topics.
