David is Managing Partner and Head of the Commercial Business Law Team of Hayes solicitors. He advises clients on a wide range of commercial law issues and represents clients in commercial disputes. He has expertise in advising on general corporate and commercial matters and in particular in the manufacturing and retail sectors. He also advises on regulatory matters.
David also has considerable experience in dealing with competition law issues and has represented numerous businesses and individuals in Competition Authority investigations and criminal prosecutions.
He also has extensive experience in advising on intellectual property right issues.
David frequently lectures on these areas and works closely with clients in providing training to their personnel.
David is a member of the Business Law Committee of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association, tutors in commercial law with the Law Society of Ireland, is a registered trade mark agent and is a founding committee member of the Health & Safety Lawyers Association of Ireland. David is also a member of the Business Opportunities Task Force of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
