Hilary is a Partner in the firm who has significant experience in all aspects of healthcare law having concentrated on that area since joining Hayes in 1995. She has represented healthcare practitioners in all Courts, as well as at Medical Council Inquiries and Inquests. Hilary has handled many catastrophic injury cases. She has also been involved in potential cases arising out of patients acquiring MRSA and Clostridium Difficile in hospitals. Hilary regularly advises clients on ethical and health and safety issues and advised healthcare professionals in the 24 hour medico-legal advisory services provided by Hayes solicitors. . She also liases closely with doctors who are called to give evidence at inquests and frequently attends inquests to protect their interests. Hilary has written articles and lectured on various aspects of healthcare law with a particular emphasis on clinical risk management issues.
