DVD Medical Negligence Cases
Deirdre McCarthy was invited to speak at the VTE National Symposium on 16 September 2010 organised by Covidien.
The topic was the introduction of protocol in the treatment of VTE and DVT. The forum was chaired by Lynda Bonner, Nurse Specialist, King’s College Hospital, UK. The other speakers included Ruth Gilmore, Consultant Haematologist, St. James’s Hospital, Dublin and Dr. Gerry O’Sullivan, Consultant Interventionist Radiologist, University College Hospital, Galway. Dr. O’Sullivan has a particular interest in new innovations in the treatment of deep vein thrombosis. Deirdre spoke on medico legal aspect of DVT cases.
