Joseph is a partner in the firm having qualified as a Solicitor in 2002. He attained a BCL and LL.M (commercial law) degree from University College Dublin. Joseph lectures widely in various aspects of commercial law and he continually addresses clients and the Institute of Chartered Accountants within this area.

Joseph works extensively in the area of commercial dispute resolution and commercial litigation. He has significant experience in handling cases before the commercial court. He is also a member of the Irish Commercial Mediation Association and legal advisor to the Mediators Institute of Ireland.

Joseph has particular expertise in advising clients on regulatory matters and has advised the US Securities and Exchange Commission in relation to their investigations in Ireland. Joseph has been involved in the prosecution and defence of some of the most high profile professional negligence actions in the State. He also advises regularly on matters relating to freedom of information, data protection, intellectual property, company formation, insolvency and restructure. Joseph advises numerous companies, liquidators and receivers in relation to insolvency matters.

He advises Ireland's leading national newspaper on various media law matters including defamation and he is legal advisor to the US Ireland Alliance.
